In this section you will learn the fundamental identities of trigonometry. You will learn how to evaluate trigonometric functions and equations. You will also learn how to verify trigonometric identities and to factor and simplify expressions. Through this section you will achieve a better understanding of the relationships between the six trigonometric functions, and how identities can be created between them. Some examples of the identities that can be created are the Quotient, Pythagorean and Reciprocal Identities. These identities are crucial to a better and more sound understanding of calculus as a whole, and are the basis for many other trigonometric principals.
